Every FARM MART Program participant has the strength of more than $3 billion
in purchasing power derived from the 45-plus Member Distributor network of
PRO Group, Inc., parent company of FARM MART.
Store Modernization
The FARM MART Store Modernization Program is more than a signage program.
Experienced retail professionals evaluate the current store and offer recommendations
on how to maximize retail effectiveness. Once suggestions have been made, it's the
Retailer who determines which enhancements to implement. A complete interior update
includes department and aisle markers, service menu boards and signage with bold,
contemporary graphics.
Inventory Management
Inventory management – having the right product at the right time – is the key
to a profitable store. FARM MART Distributors uncover potential earnings by
surveying a Retailer's inventory. This analysis can be conducted independently
or in conjunction with a detailed review of the local marketplace and competition
through the Performance Plan Program.
Using a computerized system to track wholesaler item inventory movement, FARM MART
Distributors and Retailers work together to ensure every merchandise department has
basic stock selections available and levels of inventory tailored to the trading
area for each store.
Complete Promotional Programs
Through this comprehensive program, FARM MART Members can utilize quality, customized
promotional packages.
The central element of each promotion is the low-cost advertising circular. Professionally
designed, consumer-appealing circulars highlight suggested items and pricing, yet leave
room for Retailers to select products and change pricing to meet the challenges of local
market competition. Along with the circular, promotional packages include a point-of-sale
trim kit complete with theme banners, end cap signage, shelf talkers and other point-of-sale
tools.
FARM MART also supports an ongoing brand name awareness campaign with trade magazine advertisements.
